On January 9th, 2007, my Grandpa Ernie passed away. He died out of state and an aunt cared for his precious dog Ewok while  he was gone. No one imagined Ernie wouldn’t ever return home, but he quickly succumbed to heart failure and other age related illnesses. He was 91. Without any consent or permission, Ewok was given away to an undisclosed family in the Apple Valley, CA area. Various attempts at locating Ewok via our aunt have failed. Despite Ewok’s new placement, which we sympathize with, we (his loving family) miss him very much and want him brought home. We love him very much, miss him everyday, and are heartbroken over this. He shouldn’t have been given away.
